Built in 1959 and surrounded by NASCAR race team headquarters throughout the Charlotte region, the legendary speedway has long been considered the home track for the sport. The centerpiece of this impressive motorsports campus is a 1.5-mile oval track that hosts events featuring multiple forms of racing including signature NASCAR events. The property also features two other state-of-the-art facilities the only all-concrete, four-lane drag strip in the United States and a clay oval track for wild dirt racing.
